Although we would like to see more spray foam insulation because of their energy savings and mold inhibiting properties that help the environment and save money in the process, we understand that sometimes the initial cost is too much for some. If a full spray foam insulation home is too much for you, we would encourage a mix of both foam and fiberglass. Because of the mold inhibiting characteristics of foam, we recommend at least the basement and probably the attic be insulated with foam.
